“Flagger Certification” course is being offered through the Miles Community College Center for Distance Education and Community Outreach (DECO). This class is being taught by Jerry Forman, Saturday, April 16 from 8:00 a.m. to noon in room 106.
This course is a combination of lecture, manuals, video and hands-on problem solving with regards to flagging in a work zone. The five parts of a Traffic Control Work Zone will be discussed and participants will learn flagging responsibilities and duties. Safety, uniformity and liability issues will also be covered. Montana flagger certificates will be issued to participants that successfully complete an exam at the end of the workshop. Pre-registration is required by April 1.
