To enhance the skills of supervisors, Miles Community College Center for Distance Education and Community Outreach (DECO) is offering training opportunities for managers and supervisors.  The remaining workshop will be offered in April 6. Individuals may take part in all workshops or may select the workshop specific to their individual needs. 

Part 3 “Working with Groups and Team Building” Teamwork skills are essential in organizations today because it is often through teamwork and collaboration that people produce their best results.  This workshop is designed to help you learn how teamwork affects enthusiasm, productivity and goal achievement.  Learn how to develop a cohesive team as you organize and use the talent in your group.  Participants will practice conducting work-group meetings and handling group member complaints.  Discussion of overall project management will be addressed to help make your team more productive.  This workshop will be Wednesday, April 6 from 9:00 a.m. to noon in room 106 with Shelly Weight as the instructor.
